What’s your Spurs line-up to face Norwich?

We host Norwich for Andre Villas-Boas’ third Premier League match at the helm. After taking one point from our first two Premier League matches, just what will be his Spurs line-up on Saturday?

The Canaries beat us 2-1 last season at the lane, a result that didn’t aid us in the race to finish above the Gooners in the Champions League places. Harry Redknapp made a number of changes to the Spurs line-up that day, taking a lot of criticism for his decision to rotate players costing us the game.

Emmanuel Adebayor, who was one of the players rested from the Spurs line-up for that game, insists that the match will be like any other.

“We know this game isn’t about going for revenge, it’s different, we are just going to try to win the game to help us achieve our own targets. It’s nothing to do with what Norwich did to us last season”

After coming off the bench on the hour mark last weekend against West Brom, I see Adebayor getting the start this time after having a full week of training.

As far as injuries go, the team news reported this week sees us without Younes Kaboul for four months. Being without Kaboul is a major blow, but could open the door for Steven Caulker to make a push for a place in the starting Spurs line-up in the near future.

I don’t see Caulker getting the nod this weekend though, with William Gallas starting alongside Jan Vertonghen who impressed on his debut.

In midfield, Rafael van der Vaart’s departure back to Germany really leaves us with just Gylfi Sigurdsson as the advanced midfielder if AVB goes 4-2-3-1 again. Sigurdsson got the nod to be in the starting Spurs line-up to face Newcastle, whereas van der Vaart was the player of choice against West Brom. The gaffer has dropped hints at a move to 4-3-3 this week, but that will probably only happen once the appropriate players have been signed (read Moutinho).

With Moussa Dembele also joining us this week, the Spurs line-up to face Norwich could be an interesting one.

Here’s my Spurs line-up to face Norwich, what’s yours?
