Tottenham fans were out in full force on Monday for the ‘live at the Lane’ Spurs training day.

The lads who played against Southampton had a brief warm down session, whilst the rest of the squad were put through their paces and took part in a range of drills.

Steffen Freund was on hand, and not shy of a microphone, to keep supporters abreast with the different drills and what they were trying to achieve.

“It’s enjoyable and it’s a part of my job to keep the supporters happy and, of course, to keep the players happy.”

Andre Villas-Boas also gave his views on some of the exercises whilst he was running the session, before taking questions from some of the fans via the jumbotron.

It was surprising that the gaffer didn’t finish the session with RSI after staying around afterwards for a good 40 minutes to sign autographs. Legend.

The Spurs training day is always a good chance for fans to get up close to the players and see how the lads prepare for games. It also allows us to take a some photos of the lads training up close, so check out some of my images from the session below.
